Our Young People’s Concert is a shortened version of our full length production. Schools from all over Kern County bring students to enjoy the magic of this holiday tradition.

Who will perform? The following scenes or dances will perform for their respective cast:

• Battle Scene into Snow Scene
• Interviews
• Sugar Plum Fairy
• Russian
• Spanish
• Ribbon Candy
• Mother Ginger Scene

When will I perform?

Cast A performs on Thursday, December 8th. Cast Call is at 8:45am. First show begins at 9:30am and the second show begins at 11:00am.

Cast B performs Friday, December 9ths. Cast Call is at 8:45am. First show begins at 9:30am and the second show begins at 11:00am.

The YPC show format is different from our full length production. We will begin with the Act II divertissements listed above and then begin the second portion of the show with Battle Scene.

If you are performing an Act II divertissement and also in Battle Scene you must change downstairs in the quick change rooms. It is a fast “intermission” and you do not want to miss your entrance.
