Final Gala Information and Schedule
Hello Everyone!
We are getting so close to Gala 2023!!!
Please read the information below very carefully. There is a lot of important information, dates, and times that need to be recognized. These rehearsals are extremely important. Make sure you know which cast/casts your dancer is performing in so that you are attending all the rehearsals that are scheduled for your dancer. Cast information is on the bulletin board at the studio.
Costumes will be passed out in class the last two weeks of classes.
We can’t wait to see our dancers up on stage. They have been working so hard!
Gala Information & Rehearsal Schedule
Classes are learning their dance during class time: therefore, it is extremely important that you attend every class! Most classes only have 3 or 4 classes left. If you have missed too many classes, you will not know the dance and you will not be allowed to perform. Your regular classes are considered rehearsals, so please do not miss classes.
The last day of REGULAR CLASSES is Thursday, June 1st. If you are participating in Gala, full tuition is due for the month of June. NO ONE IS EXCUSED FROM REHEARSALS JUNE 2ND-7TH.
After June 1st, NO MORE CLASSES, everything is now a rehearsal.
PARENT MEETINGS
PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN CHAIR TO ALL MEETINGS!
At the “Parent Meeting” we will discuss costume details, makeup, hair, tickets, and theater procedures. This meeting is important especially if Gala is new to you. It will be your opportunity to ask questions and receive information about Gala. It will really help to make things run smoothly at the theater if everyone attends the meeting. If you have a child who has performed in several of our shows and you have no questions or concerns; you do not need to attend the parent meeting. Dancers do not need to attend. Do not bring children or babies who cannot sit quietly during the meetings.
“Backstage Worker Meeting” – This meeting is for parents who will be working backstage. Dancers do not need to attend. If you sign up to work backstage, you may not bring siblings or any other children backstage.
“Proper Hairdo” – Ballet bun class. Please attend this class if you don’t have experience doing a classical, “cinnamon roll” ballet bun, or have questions about head pieces.
Whenever you see “Mother Goose”, it involves ALL the ballet class dances and individual characters of the cast listed.
