It’s the month of love and we love our Civic families so much!

We will be closed Saturday, February 17th through Monday, February 19th in observance of President’s Day weekend. Enjoy your 3 day weekend.

Bakersfield City Ballet will be hosting their annual Pints En Pointe fundraiser on Saturday, March 2nd at Temblor Brewing Company at 6pm. You can get more information and purchase tickets to this event at their website. Come and support some of our Civic dancers.

Gala costumes have been ordered and we are in full preparations for Gala. Teachers will begin teaching Gala dances this month. It’s important for your dancer/dancers to attend all classes as they will be considered rehearsals for Gala. Dancers that are not participating in Gala will still very much be involved in the learning process for these dances. It’s very beneficial for them to learn choreography, stage direction, and timing. Please see the bulletin board in the studio lobby for casting information for this year’s Gala.
