Hello Civic Families!

The schedules for our 2023-2024 season have all been sent out. Classes will begin Monday, August 14, 2023. Many classes have stayed the same day and time from our Summer 2023 Session. Some classes may have been adjusted by as little as 15 minutes. Make sure you review the times carefully. Students have been offered the highest level available to them. If changes need to be made due to scheduling conflicts, it will result in a move to a lower level, not a higher one. The registration form for our upcoming season can be found here. All classes will be filled on a “First come / First served” basis. Your spot will be reserved after receiving your registration form and tuition payment. For your convenience, you may pay through Venmo civic dance @Erica-Ueberroth (last 4 digits 8504). Payments and registration can also be done in person July 24-28, 2023 11:00am-2:00pm and 4:00-7:00pm; July 31-August 2023 10:00am-3:00pm and 5:00-7:00pm; August 7-11, 2023 3:00-6:00pm

Please review our Attendance and Level Placement Policy, Lobby and Studio Etiquette, and Dress Code (including more specifics about Tights and Shoes and Male Dancers). We want everyone to enjoy their experience at Civic Dance Center with no distractions during class time.

Beginning October 2, 2023 ballet classes will wear a level leotard. This level leotard will be a specific color for the individual level(s). In the event a dancer is making up a class, the dancer will wear the level leotard of their regularly attended class. You do not need to purchase the level leotard color for the makeup class. Dancers are permitted to wear any solid color or patterned leotard for Jazz, Tap, Modern and Hip Hop classes, as well as on the weekend during rehearsals. Boys will wear white or black dance shirts for Boys Class and a color coordinated dance shirt in their respective level(s). The designated color for your dancer’s level leotard or shirt will be given on August 31, 2023.

If you are new to Civic Dance Center or would like more information on what to expect for our 2023-2024 Season we will be having a couple of meet and greet parent information meetings with our Parent Liaison to learn about studio policies, how to do a proper bun, dress code, attendance expectations, placement policies, and other general information about our studio Tuesday, August 1 3:00-4:00pm and Wednesday, August 2 10:00-11:00am.
